Before you can begin the UTME registration process, you need to create a personal JAMB profile. To do this, simply send an SMS with the word “NIN” followed by your 11-digit National Identification Number to either 55019 or 66019. For example: NIN 12345678901.
Shortly after, you will get a Profile Code via text message. This code is very important, it is what you will use to get your ePIN.
Tip: Before proceeding, make sure your phone line is active and has at least ₦50 airtime, as this step comes with a small service charge.
2. Buy Your JAMB e-pin
Once your profile is ready, the next thing to do is purchase the ePIN. You can choose from a variety of payment methods:
Bank: Go to any JAMB-partnered bank like Zenith, First Bank, or Access Bank.
Give them your Profile Code, pay the required fee (usually around ₦3,500), and you will receive a printout with your ePIN.
Online Payment: Visit the JAMB official website or a trusted online payment service.
Select the option to purchase an ePIN, enter your Profile Code, and make your payment with a debit card or other supported method.
