Check Your JAMB 2025/2026 Admission Status (Accept or Reject)

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially opened its portal for checking the 2025 admission status. If you are a candidate who took part in the UTME or applied through Direct Entry, you can now confirm whether you have been offered provisional admission by your chosen institution. Your JAMB admission status simply shows whether a school has accepted or rejected your application. It plays a crucial role in the admission journey, letting you know if you have been offered admission, are still under consideration, or have not been admitted yet.

Typically, candidates begin checking their admission status once tertiary institutions wrap up their internal admission processes. This often happens after UTME results have been released and post-UTME screening exercises have been completed.

How to Check JAMB 2025 Admission Status

For you to check your JAMB admission status, you have to visit the JAMB CAPS Portal. Follow these steps to check:

Visit https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/login
Login with your email and password
Navigate to “Admission Status”
Choose exam year
Input your JAMB registration number
Click “Check Admission Status”. Your admission status will show after this

If you log into the portal and see Congratulations! You have been offered provisional admission, it means you have been successfully admitted. You can go ahead to accept or reject the offer on the JAMB portal. Once accepted, make sure to print your JAMB admission letter, as you will need it during your registration.

If the status shows Admission in Progress, it simply means the admission process is still ongoing. You don’t need to panic, just keep checking back regularly for updates.

On the other hand, if you see Not Admitted , it means you have not been offered admission yet. In this case, you might want to consider other options such as applying to other schools, choosing a different course, or improving your qualifications to boost your chances in the future.

Always stay updated, follow instructions carefully, and be proactive in exploring all available options. Whether you are offered admission or still waiting, taking the right steps at each stage will move you closer to achieving your academic goals.
